libgo5 software package provides Runtime library for GNU Go applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgo5
libgo5 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgo5 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgo5 *
You will get with libgo5 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
